Have you ever?

Have you ever met someone who felt the need to control everything?

Have you ever encountered someone that feels as though he/she is the BOSS and nothing else matters?

Have you ever met someone who expects you to do and find everything and then calls you selfish for supposedly not having the same goals and visions?

Have you ever felt so frustrated with everything and yet, is not able to do anything about it because the final answer comes from someone else?

If you answered yes to all of the above, then you would understand the feeling I am experiencing right now. I have never felt so pissed or irritated with something so much in my entire life! How can someone be so fickle-minded and make last minute decisions about everything??

Setting time limits that are so unreasonable and then expecting people to do the impossible within that time frame! BUT, when YOU are given a time frame, you ask, why are we rushing?? And how logical is it to do or print something one day before an event??

I've finally realised how important time management is and even before I do my internship, I've realised what it is like to have a superior that wants to control everything and not give any freedom to its subordinates.

The past week has made me very restless and I've spent many of my hours thinking about all the problems that my team and I are currently facing. I understand that before any event, there is bound to be some conflict and the only way to overcome this is by comprimising with each other and finding a solution to every bump we face along the way. Hopefully, everything will be resolved by the time of the event and that the relationship between people would not be strained.

One of the things that actually lifted up my spirits today was watching the movie Karate Kid. Even though I am familiar with the storyline, I actually enjoyed the movie. It was surprisingly quite uplifting and gave me renewed strength to face my problems. haha! A lot of it had to do with the songs in the movie though. The songs played during his practice sessions and the last fight made the scenes much more convincing and inspiring. Two thumbs up to the songs in the movie!! =)

I'll end this post with a line from the movie that I think I should start using until my event is over, "When the world knocks you down, you have the right to choose your next move" and right now I choose to be positive and believe that WE CAN DO IT!!! =)

Till the next post, Pa-alam!!
