Outing with college mates

On Wednesday (10/3), we had our very first class presentation and I'm happy to say, everything was smooth sailing. The best part of the day was not that actually but what happened before and after ming and I presented. We were giggling and making so much of noise in class for the first time that I am pretty sure that Miss Ngu had a neck pain the next day for the number of times she had to turn to "shoosh" us!! =)

The reason for all the giggling was because we were planning for our outing the next day. Since this is our final semester before we all go our separate ways, we decided to have an outing together since we've never had the time to just hangout with each other outside of college. So, plans were made and we were ready to enjoy!

The next day, in class, assuming that we would finish early, we were all very excited for some reason and we could hardly pay attention! What made it worse was the fact that our lecturer kept giving example after example after example trying to explain some of the terms to us even though we've heard the examples many times before.

So after class, we actually had to rush to Gurney as we booked a room for karaoke at 4pm and we left college at 3.45pm!! But, we managed to reach in time. If you know me, you would know that karaoke is not my thing but I actually had fun. It was fun to just sing and not matter whether you sounded good or not. So kiran, I can go with you the next time! haha.. =)

As my friends are all chinese, a mixture of chinese and english songs were sung. Of course, I couldn't sing the chinese songs so, while they were singing, we took pictures! No pictures up yet as I'm waiting for my friend to post it up.

After our 3 hours of singing was up, we had to rush to the theatre to catch our movie "Up In The Air". Unfortunately, when we reached, the movie had already started but thankfully we didn't miss much and could understand what was happening. The movie was really entertaining. It was both funny and serious. Of course, George Clooney looked really good and Anna Kendrick played her role really well. If any of you are thinking of watching the movie, i definitely recommend it. =)

After the movie, we had dinner at a place called The City (if i'm not wrong coz i can't remember! haha). The eatery is located where Tower Records used to be. I had spaghetti and since we had balance money from our previous assignments, we decided to indulge ourselves and ordered a few extra side dishes. The food was not bad and if Kim Gary is filled the next time you're at Gurney, you should try this place as the menu is quite similar to that of Kim Gary's.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable day and hopefully we will be able to do it again before we graduate. I'll definitely miss this gang of friends after I graduate but thankfully, with the wonders of Facebook, we will be able to keep in touch always! =)

Ok, that's all for now. Pa-alam!! =)
