PR FAIR 2009
*Our booth*
So, opening ceremony was suppose to be at 9am but it got delayed and it only started at around 9 something. Overall, it was good. After Mr.Amos gave his speech and the five event coordinators pop the cracker thingy, PR Fair 2009 was officially launched.
I would say that everything went on smoothly. Even though our game "The Best Channel Blue" had some glitches like the contestants not being happy but i'm glad that it had great response from the audience and they were actually eager to go and vote for them. I really have to thank some of my classmates who gave so much of support to our group! Thanks you guys! =)
Our lucky draw and question & answer sessions went on smoothly and i'm also surprised that there were a lot of people who were interested in our sunglasses collection. And they were interested in buying them! All of our vouchers were given out, a lot of people bought the stuff we were selling and we also had good response for our free eye test session.
*We had footprints like this stuck onto the ground to lead people to our booth*
Overall, I would say that everyone had fun on both days of the fair. According to our lecturer, our batch of PR students organised the best PR fair so far. So, that's a good sign i guess. She said one of our good points were that we were able to retain our audience throughout the whole fair and the foyer was completely filled with people! I can only hope that we did enough to get good marks for our assignment and that our objective of doing the fair was reached.
Lastly, I would also like to give special thanks to all my group members. Thank you for all your hardwork, dedication and "never-give-up" attitude that all of you had throughout the whole preparation period for this fair. Together we managed to successfully promote our organisation CHANNEL BLUE OPTICAL and together we all did a great job in having fun even when faced with difficulties. So, thank you and may we continue to produce great work like this! =)
