Hello 2009
It's once again the start of something new. New beginnings, new memories and a new future ahead. I cannot say for sure that I know what this new year holds for me but what I do know for sure is that it will definitely be a year filled with challenges which will help me learn new ways to overcome everything that is thrown in my way and surprises that will definitely make 2009 an interesting one that will make me look forward to each day of this new year.
The first challenge that I will have to overcome will be my second semester examination which will begin on the 14th of January. I only have a week left to prepare and I do hope that I will be able to do my best. As far as I am concerned, this is my only hurdle so far for this month and as they say, it's best to take one challenge at at a time, right? So, wish me luck!
On another note, just a few hours ago, I realised that 2009 will be the final year of me in my TEENAGE YEARS! This time next year, I will be beginning my life as a twenty year old! Can you imagine how time flies?? I have to fully take advantage of my final year as a teenager before I become like my sister who's already complaining about how "old" she is!! hahahah.... I will be entering a whole new decade next year!! hahah...But, we'll face that next year alrite? Looks like I definitely have to make this year an eventful one!
Now, here's a recap on what happened as I ushered in the new year. Unlike last year, where I ushered in my new year in my dormitory in my NS camp, this year, I got to usher in the new year in the shop while having a "war"! hahaha... As usual, the Spray Foam war started as the clock struck 12am and everyone begin to run fully equipped with a can in our hands. And like always, it wasn't a fair fight as the guys once again outnumbered the girls as there were more guys involved in this "war". My cans were stolen right out of my hand and my handbag!! The guys seriously have to learn how to respect a girl's privacy and not go snooping around in one's handbag!! hahaha...But, it was all in the name of fun. Mum got bullied mercilessly, sis fell and injured both her knees while I got chased by two guys just because I managed to spray one of them. Good times.... hahaha....
So, in conclusion, I ushered in the new year with my wonderful family, a great bunch of crazy friends and with lots of joy and love surrounding me. May this year continue on being the same! =)
